A Resurrection Poem
I saw death
I caught one's breathTears flew over my headAndFears were in both earsIt was tangling up in the glass of beerI heard the music of the spheresIt was stucked on me for yearsI trapped in a garbage truckLeft with no luckBlessing in disguiseThe futures ariseThe pasts despiseHere you are as the presentLike the sole protectionThen the tomb showed me the directionIt's you with enough affectionMaybe you're the thing they called resurrection
— A Resurrection Poem (February 10th, 2015)
Like the scene on Before Sunrise, I'm playing this street poet's game. A person gives me a word and I make a poem for him in return. Of all poems I've made, this one I like the most. A poem inspired by a given word 'resurrection' from the loveliest one.
